Chad and Erika: September 2006

We Made it! we are in SoCal. more to come. I still have a bunch of pictures to put up.

Our latest stop was Roy, Utah. we had such a great time and there was snow on the top of the mts. We really enjoyed our time with our friends matt and lorrie.

Matt took off work and we headed up the hill to Park City, wow ... that is all i have to say.

still going strong

Well we are still in Nebraska. We had a great time with family in Arkansas. Have had an excellent time here in NE with Paul and myla, Rachel and Nate. I am sorry i havn't posted pictures in a while we have been really busy. As of tommorrow we will have been on the road for two weeks. we are also leaving for Utah at 6:oo am (ish) our longest stretch yet (12 hours 48 min. 923.10 miles)

All of our earthly posessions are loaded into these two cars. we made it 479 miles to louisville, only 3129.72 miles, 45 hours and 47 minutes left to go (according to mapquest)

Chad and erika at the one and only Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. we got to sit in on some classes and they were really good (Dr.Bruce Ware) Don't wory I am not even thinking about it!

"NO DUNKING" Now they are making up new rules to slow my b-ball game down.

What in the world are we doing?

Well we made it to Louisville safely. Praise God! We were both wiped out. It has been a tough month, physically and emotionally draining. Up and down up and down. We are trying to be obedient but as we leave our friends/family at Grace Assembly, we are wondering if we are making the right move. We have said "if things don't work out we can always turn around and come back, right???" I have said I wish this wasn't so hard Erika said if it wasn't hard then it would have shown we wasted 7 years. It would have also said we were doing something very wrong in our approach to "church". We will never be able to replace the relationships we have in VA. We miss you guy's so much. Well we are in Louisville (say it how you want) and I will try to keep this thing updated during our travels across the country. (it is late and I am sorry if I misspelled some names and other stuff, nevermind I am just trying to make excuses for my poor spelling skills!)

bill and matt drove down from DC to see us. (our special ed friend, justin came over too). hopfully we will get to see bill in arkansas and matt in CA.
