Anchors away

the second part of our surprise field trip was renting a boat and cruising around the Newport harbor for a couple of hours. It was so much fun. Everyone took turns at the wheel navigating through the treacherous waters.

hey, two hands on the wheel.

Roxi-"how do you drive this thing?"
Zach-"watch out for that yacht!"

the love boat

when animals attack!!

Gentry really wanted to see some seals...until we got close.
Gentry was sitting on the front of the boat enjoying the ride, when i spotted these two monsters laying on top of each other, pooping all over this poor guys boat. I decided to take over at the helm and bring us in for a closer look. I got a little too close, they sat up, opening their mouths and hissing at us. I thought for sure the big one was going to jump in our boat, sink it, and eat us! Gentry tried to hop back in the boat real fast, I am glad she didn't fall in the bay!

"No more seals!"

The landlubbers trying to shake off their sea legs.
(They look like they should be a band.)

Melting pot

Here is the crew at the melting pot, the most amazing restaurant I have ever been to. Our friends Jason and Kristi introduced us to this place and now we are ruined. We wanted to take everyone to somewhere nice; a place we could just hang out for a long time and talk and have a good time. I don't think anyone was disappointed the melting pot came blew us away again!

Zach, trying to pretend he is not excited.

Yes, one flaming pot of caramel and chocolate please.

This is a photo of a very happy man who has a good woman by his side and raw meat ready to be cooked and eaten.

"Oh good finally someone figured out what I want to eat everyday!"-Brian

Let the cooked meat come forth from the cauldron.
