well I have been slacking with the picture taking. This is a cool shot Seth took when we went to the beach . I have been going surfing early, Sunday before church. Every time i have gone out we have had dolphins swim super close to us. The weekly surf trips have been a great time of felloship with the guys, a lot of much needed exercise, and some solitude with the Lord surrounded by his beautiful creation.

My Grandparents, Papa Gene and Mama Joy, last month we got to celebrate my grandpa's 80th birthday. they are awesome! God was gracious to bless me with such a great family.

this one goes out to the Woodard's. If we did not build the grotto this is what their basement would have turned in to!

Intelli's Grand Opening!!

On 8-17-07 Intelligentsia Coffee and tea opened their first shop outside of Chicago. It is in Silver Lake, Ca (next to Hollywood on sunset blvd). Our friend Nick Griffith was selected to be one of the barista/roasters. In honor of the event we closed the shop early and Erika and I went with mike in his 1982 diesel powered VW Dasher. It was really fun, the place was packed out, the DJ had some bumpin' music, free coffee and espresso flowed like brown lava into already over caffeinated hipsters. the patio. the place to see and be scene.
Half of Mike, the Johnston's, and the Griffith's, chillin' with Doug Zell, owner of Intelli

World renowned barista Nick Griffith working it.

The lovely couple Nick and Shar.

The lovely couple, Mike and clover. Mike is the third member of team Augie's and the clover is a $12,000 machine we all wish we could brew our drip coffee with.

yummy more of the Chocolate please. (it's a secret recipe made from scratch)

Nice art in the nice cup on a nice saucer. If there is no art they throw the drink out.

Here is a pretty good shot of the whole shop. Check out the cool Nicaraguan tile
